3) There are two ways to fly into Los Angeles:

LAX

-Has the most flight options and on its face might seem like the cheaper option. HOWEVER. You will spend at least 50 dollars on an Uber there and back. You will also leave a piece of your sanity somewhere along the Horseshoe of Hell. If this your only option, it’s not the end of the world. The drive in offers several great views of the city. You’ll have plenty of time to take them in, because you’ll be stuck in traffic. This pilgrimage is a rite of passage among Angelenos and you will return home just a little bit braver and stronger because of it.

Hollywood Burbank Airport

Burbank Airport offers a fantasyland version of LA where things are laid out in a way that makes sense and people behave like civilized human beings. The potential additional cost is worth it.

Even if you don’t go visit any of them, they’ll help you better understand why this city is so special to both of us.
